CONNECT DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORK

Here at Greater Randolph SDA Church, we take discipleship seriously. Our mission is to make committed disciples of Jesus Christ who lovingly witness and proclaim to all people the Everlasting Gospel of the Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for His soon return (Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Rev. 14:6-12).

To accomplish this, we espouse a three-prong Discipleship Framework called, CONNECT. All our members seek to live out this simple, yet powerful lifestyle ethos in just three steps/approaches:

1. Connect with Christ.

2. Connect with Church.

3. Connect with Community.

Connect with Christ

Disciples follow Jesus' example and understand their unique gifts. They Know What They Believe, Why They Believe, and Where It Is Found (in The Bible). They model and practice 2 Timothy 2:15; 4:2-5; and Colossians 3:16 through:

  • Daily Prayer
  • Daily Bible Study
  • Daily Sharing Light and Love

Connect with Church

Disciples minister and nurture each other as they live in loving connection with other like-minded believers in the body of Christ. They model and practice Acts 2:41-47; John 13:34, 35; and Galatians 6:1-10 through:

  • Weekly Worship
  • Weekly Fellowship
  • Weekly Stewardship

Connect with Community

Disciples joyfully share their gifts both within the Church and in the community. They model and practice Matthew 25:31-46; 28:18-20; and Acts 1:8 through:

  • Monthly Volunteer Service
  • Monthly Community Outreach
  • Monthly Global Missions Support

What does Jesus' death on the cross mean in my life and how do I accept Jesus into my life?

When you accept Christ’s death, as a gift, you become a child of God. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). “To all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God” (John 1: 12 RSV). If you would like to receive Christ into your life right now, follow these simple steps:

  • Recognize you must die. “The wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23).
  • Realize you cannot save yourself. “Without Me (God) you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
  • Repent and confess to God that you are a sinner. “All have sinned…” (Romans 3:23).
  • Believe Jesus died for your sins. “For God so loved the world that He gave…” (John 3:16).
  • Believe that Jesus forgives you of sin. “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9)
  • Believe that you have eternal life. “He who believes in Me has everlasting life” (John 6:47).
Do you also go on mission tirps or support global missions?

Yes. That's part of our discipleship strategy and the heart of the Great Commission. We partner with several organizations, ministries, and Churches/conferences to do mission trips, training, medical missionary work, evangelism, and church planting.
